Day Twenty!
(((LISTEN))) FRIDAY MORNING:
FRIDAY MORNING: We are on our way to a place called Mena, which is in Port Suakin. This is where we will be boarding the ship, which we have booked for this afternoon towards Jeddah, Insha Allah!
The ship is unbelievably huge, carrying about 3000 passengers. ![]()
The road to Mena is very remote and the reception is bad. Unfortunately, due to some hiccups with the ship we were unable to leave on Friday.

ASA brothers.
I see that you’ve made some real progress and that only the Red Sea stands between you and Jeddah. May your journey across the sea be as smooth as Moses’.
Salaams and Allah help you on your way.

Assalaamualaykom!
Alhumduliihah you brothers have shown us that simplicity is after all not a pipe dream. We have been engulfed in a material world where we are dependant on technology on our every needs.
May Allah reward you for your efforts and may Allah open the eyes of the Ummat!
Make dua for the Ummat during your stay in the Holy land!

As salaamualikum. Masha Allah. It was very emotional to hear the brother describe the scene to Ml.Sulaiman Rawat this morning [10th] from the port in Jeddah. I also feel very sorry for the Sudanese people who are only allowed to go for hajj when they are old. What a sad situation in a muslim country! May Allah Taala accept all the brothers sacrifices and grant all hajj Mabroor. Please document all your expeirnces in a book form as an inspiration for other Muslim males to follow, Insa Allah Aameen. Was Salaam.
