Day Nine!

SUNDAY & MONDAY: We were on the train in Tanzania passing by beautiful scenery. It seems as if we were on a ‘Haji-Safari-Tour’. It was nice to see the animals living in their natural habitat.
At the border, the officials were very friendly. We did not even have to come off from the train. The officials came on and processed our documents. The visa cost was $50.
We reached Tanzania (Dar Es Salaam) on Sunday at about 12:30pm. At 15:30 we got onto the ferry
to Zanzibar. After three days of travelling we were quite tired. The train temperature was about 35 c. The beach in Zanzibar is breathtaking. ![]()
We are in Zanzibar, visiting the Stone Town. Zanzibar is rich with Islamic history.
