Day Seventeen!
(((listen)))
TUESDAY: Today we are at Port Sawaakin, which is 50km away from ![]()
The bus journey from
At the moment we are in the process of negotiating with some agents to try making our bookings earlier. There are many agents available with whom we are in constant discussion and we hope to get a ferry by tomorrow.![]()
Be that as it may, our spirits are high and we are really looking forward to reaching Madinatul Munawwarah, Insha Allah! The excitement is even growing by the moment.
We will be spending the better part of our day at the port, seeing off the Hujjajj and hoping to be with them. There is much excitement at the Port itself as there are about 200 000 Sudanese that will be departing from the same port.![]()
It is an absolutely amazing sight to see. People reciting Labbaik and all excited to board the ships towards Jeddah, especially, the first-timers’ look of enthusiasm on their faces. Even at the Port Masjid there are daily Haj lessons and guidelines for all the Hujaaj departing.
Adding to our venture, we slept on straw beds on the outside last night and experienced the ‘local feeling’. In actual fact we have even become part of the feel.

Assalaamualaykom!
My request would be to outline the type of transport taken by the brothers and what sort of gear/equipment that was taken for the jorney.
May Allah take them safe and reward them for the immense sacrifice.

Mashallah!!! It was wonderful to see that you are on your last leg of your trip and the begining of the journey of a lifetime. Sail well brothers, and I will be reading your story to my 3 sons, Salmaan, Ammar and Bashar Moolla to teach them, that people can do anything they want if they work hard and set their minds to it. You are trully and inspiration.
If possible please I humbly request if you can make dua for us (The Moolla Family from Canada) and also convey our salaams to our Beloved Nabi when you go to His Kabr.

Respected Brothers
Thank you for keeping us updated on the welfare of these Noble people.
I think its an encouragement to all of us,who were failing to go to Hajj because of financial problems.
It will be a good idea if they will publish a Document on how they travelled, the problems they encountered and all the costs incured from the point of departure up to Jeddah,so that for those willing to travel by land they can do so.
Please forward this message to them & and may Allah bless them
